  • I have PCOS. Wtih my two oldest kids, I worked with a reproductive endocrinologist (a fertility specialist) so I knew I was pregnant right away. With my surprise 3rd child, I knew I was pregnant when my period was late and I was sooooooo tired that I couldn't function.

  • if you have been trying for awhile I would go to a specialist, they will first help get your period on track then you will be able to expierence the late period as if you didn't have PCOS

  • My first two babies were conceived with meds so I knew when to test. My second baby (5 yrs later) was a surprise natural conception. I actually knew I ovulated because I can feel it, so when I didn't get my period, I knew I was pregnant but it took forever to get a positive. There was a problem and they suspected an ectopic. This pregnancy was with fertility meds so I knew when to test. I always "know" when I'm pregnant, I have certain never fail signs but of course I've been pregnant 5 times, only one 6 yr old though :(

I get my period twice a year naturally but I can tell when I ovulate so I know when to expect my period, about two weeks later. PCOS is frustrating when ttc but it's not impossible to get pregnant! Just have to test if you think you might be or go get a blood test. Watch for fertile CM, makes it easier to track a cycle!

  • I agree- see a specialist. After the clomid and the IUI they did a blood test about 4 days before a pee test would have been valid!
