There are many kinds of truth. Al Gore was poleaxed by an inconvenient one yesterday.
In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”
However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said.
Perhaps Mr Gore had felt the need to gild the lily to buttress resolve. But his speech was roundly criticised by members of the climate science community. “This is an exaggeration that opens the science up to criticism from sceptics,” Professor Jim Overland, a leading oceanographer at the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said.

Al Gore and Liberals who believe his lies are fools... Is the earth changing? YUP.... Could some of the causes be man made? YUP... Could SOME of the causes be natural? YUP.... Which is more? Depends on WHO you ask.. Ask the liberals who manipulate the data? Sooooooo~WHY did liberal loons like Gore have to LIE and manipulate data to get their point across... The SCIENTIFIC DATA should speak for itself... To think they gave this man a NPP... Ohh wait, they gave Obama one too... The NPP has deviated from its orig. intent and turned into a beauty contest for liberals.

"In the United States of America, unfortunately we still live in a bubble of unreality. And the Category 5 denial is an enormous obstacle to any discussion of solutions. Nobody is interested in solutions if they don't think there's a problem. Given that starting point, I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations on how dangerous (global warming) is, as a predicate for opening up the audience to listen to what the solutions are, and how hopeful it is that we are going to solve this crisis." -- Al Gore
Yep, Al lies, and thinks it's appropiate to lie. No one in their right mind would believe anything the man says.
