Is it okay to still breastfeed your child who is beyond a year

My daughter who I am stil breastfeeding is 16months old and just so comfortable now with and I dont want to make her fell bad so I keep breastfeed her

  • its fine untill you are ready to wean. i have a friend who breastfed her 5 year old.

  • I breastfed my daughters until they were nearly too. I think breastfeeding after two is a little too much and I think breastfeeding a 5-yr-old is totally extreme.

  • Great job!!!! Absolutely keep it up. I think worldwide, the average age of completely weaning a child is 4 or 5!!! Only in the USA do we think it is amazing when someone makes it a whole year!
