I have only been unemployed for 2 days and I am bored out of my mind.
You have lots of time to pray when you are home all day. Kids will be home next week I will not be so bored.

When I get up I say the St. Micheal Chaplet then read the readings of the day. At 6 I say the Angelus. At noon I Say the Angelus again and the Rosary. At 3 the Divine Chaplet with my husband before the kids get home Sometimes I do go to Daily Mass when don't, I watch it on TV.

They are meditative prayers. If you read them you would see how they can help with your frame of mind. You concentrate on the meaning of what you are saying. Even so called free style prayer can repetitive and empty. Which is what Christ is refering to. Empty Prayers.

my kids are still young and not in school, so I keep pretty busy with housework and entertaining two toddlers, lol.
