Is there a way to find out who a cell phone number belongs to?

  • call it and find out - hit star 67 on either your house phone or your own cell phone before you dial. That blocks your house or cell number from showing on their phone id unless they have a block on blocked calls.

    also through either verizon residential or att residential use reverse number search and the results will show what town the cell number's prefix is in although not whose it is.

    that you do have to pay for through various people search engines - don't know how legitimate any are.

  • I agree with lfl, google 'reverse phone number' and click on each page till you find a free one. They wll usually tell you a name, but then ask you to pay for more specific info such as address.
