  • no, my hubby has girls on his myspace. you cant completely cut females from his life as long as he's not doing anything with them. Thats WAYYY too controlling

  • You'd be mad about your DH/SO having female friends on facebook?

What has this world come to?

  • What do you mean by "the other women"? My SO has several female friends on there, just like I have several male friends... Don't see a reason to get upset about that.

  • Depends on what you mean by other women. Like just women in his friends list? No I wouldn't be upset at all, unless there was someone there who I knew specifically as a problem (i.e. ex who wants him back, co-worker who has tried to get with him, etc).
The only other way there would be a red flag is if a woman was leaving sexual messages on his page. Flirty wouldn't be appreciated, but sexual would be a problem.
Either way he is friends with whoever he wants. I am not his mom and can't tell him what to do. I can only decide how to react to the things he does.

  • No I wouldn't. I have male friends on mine. You can't have a relationship without trust. Just discuss boundaries you each are comfortable with.

  • Not at all. My husband has lots of females on his friends list. Some of them are girls that he knew in High School, some are female Marines (he's a Marine), one is even his ex gf. It doesn't bother me in the least. Call me niave but I have 100% trust in my husband and will keep it that way until he does something to prove me wrong.

  • nope, not for even a moment.

see, we have this thing that grows between two people when they care for one another, and have no ill intent- it's called "Trust".

though that may be a new concept to some, i feel that it is an integral part of our relationship.
he has his friends, i have mine, who really cares? at the end of the day we fall asleep wrapped around one another, and wake to the same. if he chooses to have female friend, or i male, that hold no bearing on "trust' as it has been established.

  • If you mean "the other woman" has in the woman my husband is cheating on me with (not a "literal" me - I'm speaking in figuratives), then abso-friggin'-lutely.

If you mean just plain ol' OTHER WOMEN, no. I have male friends on my facebook - I wouldn't expect anything different.

  • Ok, wait THE OTHER WOMAN, like he cheated, YES. I would be done. Other women isn't a big deal, though..
