nb not happy unless held.

I have a 7 day old infant and she is not happy unless she is being held. I'm not sure what to do. If I put her down, she cries....even if she was sleeping. She will wake up and cry. I'm usually all for tough love but not at 7 days old. What should I do?

  • That is how my daughter was...I got a sling and we co-slept. She was happy, I was happy, and we both got sleep.

  • hold her, girl hold her like your sanity depends on it. cause it sortta does... I held my baby and now she's perfectly fine, we have a thing in Cambodia where we decide if your baby is "mean" or not. my baby was "mean" and you need to teach her to be nice, so hold her and show her how it is to be nice.

  • keep her swaddled in a blanket. A baby before its born is in a very tight spot in your womb and so they like having that "secure" feeling so if you need a break from holding your baby and you don't want them to cry just make sure you have em wrapped up nice and tight
