What kind of mom and I?

There is an on-going battle between "older moms" and "young moms" on here and I'm not sure which I am.

I was 28 when my first son was born. He's now a year and a half and I am going to turn 30 in June (just before he turns 2).

Am I am "old mom" or a "young mom"?

  • There's a battle? I haven't seen any battle.
I think a mom is a mom no matter what age she is.....we ALL went through birth one way or another and we ALL are raising babies and children.
We shouldn't be battling, we should be supporting one another.
I am a limitless age, yet of all ages. :)

  • Neither old nor young. You're just right, I guess!
I was 22 when I had my first and 28 when I had my second, so I think I fall in the "neither old nor young" category too.

  • Under 30 = young mom

Over 30 = oldER mom (not

So you're right in the middle.

    I'm almost 36, but I'm certainly not old! :-)

  • It really doesn't matter as long as your a good mom imo. But to amswer your question I would consider you a young mom. I was 17 when I had my dd. And I am a young mom. But I consider myself to be a good mom!

  • well considering the fact that there are so many girls having kids at an earlier age nowadays,I guess you and I are considered older moms! I'm 37 with an 8 yr old son.
