Want to share a super easy and inexpensive recipe for a holiday treat?

Here's a great one that has been a big hit with everyone I've made it for so far.

Crispy Chocolate Candy

2 cups (Or one regular bag) of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 cups (Or one regular bag) of Peanut Butter Chips
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup Raisins
1 cup Salted Dry Roasted Peanuts

Melt chocolate and stir until smooth. Fold in remaining ingredients. Drop by tablespoon fulls onto waxed paper lined trays. Refridgerate 15 minutes or until set.

The possibilities are endless!

  • Christmas Crack

    1 sleeve saltine crackers
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 cup butter
    1 package chocolate chips
    3/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees, and line a 10" x 15" with foil (the kind of sheet that has raised edges!). Spray with Pam, or grease VERY lightly with butter. Cover the cookie sheet with a single layer of saltines. Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring with a whisk. Pour over the saltines, and try to spread it as evenly as possible. Place in the oven and bake for 5 minutes. When you remove it, the caramel mixture will be molten and boiling; allow to cool about 3 min, or until you can see the crackers distinctly, which will have shifted while baking. Push them back into order with a fork or knife.
    Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the toffee and let sit for about 5 minutes to melt. Once melted spread chocolate evenly. If desired, sprinkle on pecans

  • Oh, that sounds good! I had to laugh at the name, "Christmas Crack." LOL! I wonder if there is a recipe for "Christmas Meth?" J/K, lol!

  • 1 package Oreos, crushed
    1 bock (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
    8-12 oz chocolate coating (white, dark or milk), melted
    sprinkles, finely chopped nuts or coconut, optional

    In a large bowl, beat cream cheese. Stir in crushed Oreos. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Roll mixture into 1 inch balls. Place on waxed paper lined cookie sheets. Refrigerate another 30 minutes. Dip balls into melted chocolate then roll into choice of topping. Let cool at room temp for 10 minutes then store in refrigerator.
