  • tomatoes
    garlic

    cilantro
    green bell pepper
    lime
    olive oil
    salt
    pepper
    a pinch of sugar

crush garlic, then add the all ingredients (including crushed garlic) to the food processor & pulse until desired consistancy.

  • You can also substitute the tomato for a mango & it makes WONDERFUL mango salsa (great on enchiladas)

You can also add a lil cumin, of you like

    Sorry for posting 100 times...lol!

  • I do the same as the PP but sometimes DH wants me to add crap meat, I also eyeball everything and the cilantro is better if it is minced really well.

I throw all of mine in a food processor soemtimes and it comes out really nicely.

  • Salsa Fresca

8-10 Roma tomatoes, seeded, if you wish, and coarselychopped
1 oe 2 fresh jalapeno, seeded (if you have sensitive skin, wear gloves)
1 large, sweet onion finely chopped
1 tbs dry, or 4 tbs fresh cilantro
    1 tsp cumin
    Dash of sea salt
    Cracked black pepper
    2 Tbs lime juice
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Combine tomatoes, jalapeno and onion in a bowl, sprinkle with salt and let set for 10 to 20 minutes; drain. Add rest of the ingredients.
