how can you keep a common cold away from a 2 year old in daycare, she will do good for 2 weeks and she gets another cold and alot of coughing?

please help we have been in the hospital twice this year any suggestions?

  • Consider popping in on the daycare and see what their cleaning skills are like. Make sure they are effectively sanitizig surfaces and toys at least daily. Of course they can't stop germs from going around completely but they sure can try. I assume this is somewhat normal for kids in daycare though right? If its not consider switching to a cleaner one.
    And make sure she's getting all her vitamins and nutrients to give her immune system a natural boost.

  • if you can find a natural store like vitamin store they have something for kids that's like airborn or whatever it's called. But has this been going on for a long time? I agree with both people on here...It is going to happen...but if it has happened for a LONG time then I would question how the daycares cleaning habbits are. Also when you have a sickness you are contageous before you even show symptoms so it is sometimes hard to keep sickies out of school when they don't even know if they are sick
