Should I let him play outside with a cold?

my toddler has a VERY MILD cold that could even be due to teething. He lost his voice, but got it back and now is only coughing once in a great while to release the phlegm in his throat (more of a throat clearing)
He wants to go play in the snow SO badly and keeps bringing me his boots saying "outside". I am thinking we can go make a quick snowman and come back in for some cider. It has warmed up to 34 degrees outside.
Would you keep him in? does it really make a difference?

cold does not make children sick, viruses & bacteria do. fresh air is a wondrous thing.

  • Yes, the fresh air will actually make him feel better. As long as he doesn't have a fever, that it.
