I don't know anything about computers. Can you tell me if this is a good one to buy my DH?

  • MY husband said no that would not be a great computer for games.
Go to bestbuy and talk to the geek squad people there they should be able to help you pick the perfect one.

  • I think you should buy a computer together since it's an expensive item.

  • Get a mac. Seriously, I got one about 4 years ago and can't believe I've gone so long with just a PC! : )

  • Wel most games require 512MB-1GB of RAM and this computer has 2GB of RAM and can hold up to 4GB...and it has a 2.3GHz processor so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work for games. It doesnt look like a bad computer, especially for that price.

  • This is a pretty late answer....but I recommend reading a recent post regarding purchasing a new computer: http://www.cafemom.com/group/11175/forums/read/10541774/Buying_New_Computer

If you want a computer geared towards gaming .... it should say so in the description for buying it, and you should research the requirements of the games in question to be sure it's compatible.

  • Talk to Geek Squad at Best Buy or the tech guys at your local Staples. They know what's best, so long as you give them all the information.
