WITI-TV, MILWAUKEE - Some gay rights groups are asking you to think twice about giving to the Salvation Army this holiday season. That's because they are upset with the organization's stance against homosexuality.

  • I choose bettering America. Salvation Army does more to help America than Gays. 90% of their contributions actually support communities all across America. No gay group generates that much money. Salvation Army all the way!

  • I think gay pride is bettering America, any organization that discriminates is wrong. and for the Anon above you have no idea how much money gay groups generate. op, consider your source.

How so? Does being "prideful" put clothes on people's backs, keep a roof over their head, put food on one's table, or providegainful employment? That would be a NO! And that is why I have and will continue to support the Salvation Army with both material and monetary donations.

    Merry Christmas! :o)

  • Sounds to me like the Salvation Army ISN'T saying theyd not allow any gays to recieve help if they knew of them..only that they do not agree with the homosexual lifestyle...so what they have the right to agree or disagree with whatever they choose too..and so now some militant gay groups want to tell people to boycott them...whatever
