Does a Britax convertable car seat

fit well in a Jetta, Honda civic or a mercedes C class?

  • Hi, it totally depends on the model of carseat. I had my DD's Roundabout in a 98 Nissan Sentra FF when she was 3, and it fit fine. It also depends on which way you face. Go to Babies R us and they will let you try the carseats out in your car. If it doesnt, I recommend a Sunshine Kids Radian. they have seats that will rear face to 45lbs... and rear facing is the safest thing you could ever do for your child in the car. and they are a tad bit cheaper than Britax. around $279. SKR seats are slimmer and more compact, but still tall to accomodate a tall rear facing child... so they fit in almost anything.
