You know those big, fat, fluffy, iced, WHITE sugar cookies?

I'm looking for a recipe!

I'm talking about the big Lofthouse style cookies.

I found a site, but there's a TON of recipes! Help!

What recipe do you use?
What's a good one for icing?

  • icing is easy. 1/4 c milk, vanilla extract & powdered sugar. keep adding powdered sugar until it is as thick as you like.

You can also substitute the milk for anything, like lemon juice (makes a wonderful lemon icing, bit don't add the vanilla) you can add cinnamon, peppermint, any spice to give it a different flavor.

You can also mix cream cheese, milk & powdered sugar for a more CREAMY frosting.

  • We do our powdered sugar frosting with milk and almond extract...really a delicious unique taste...always means Christmas at our house. Love big soft cut out sugar cookies! We bake them like crazy this time of year.
