What would you do to these plants and trees?

We had a freeze the other day (for one day/night) and I forgot to cover my plants outside and now they all look dry and withered and just hanging downward I feel bad it rarely gets that cold here in Texas.

As soon as it gets somewhat warm I think I will go and chop all that deadness off and trim it to the nub. Would that be ok or would it kill it completely if the cold didn't kill it. Thank you!

  • Its a good idea to clip off the dead limbs. I would wait until Feb. though to cut down to the nub.

  • What kind of plants are they? Different plants need to be trimmed at different times of the year
