When does the colustrum begin to show up?

I'm on baby #3 but it seems like my colustrum began to show up by this point already with my other two... I am 6 months.

When does it typically start to show up?

  • like anon said. is different for begin to produce as soon as you conceive but for some woman you begin to leak at 5 6 mts others not till baby is born

  • It's different for each person, and each pregnancy. Mine came when I was 5 months along.

  • with my son, i only leaked a teensy bit of colostrum and it was in the last few weeks. like 37 weeks and beyond =)

  • I've have some the entire pregnancy BUT I was nursing when I got pregnant, I did stop due to preterm labor as soon as we found out but ya, leaking sucks
