Can bmp formated pictures be converted to jpg?

I need to print some pictures for my mom's Christmas present and just realized that over half are in bmp format. Is there anyway to convert them? I've tried uploading as is to snapfish but they won't take them that way. Anyone know if I put them on a card and took them to WalMart if they would print as bmp?

  • If I want to convert to jpg, I just open it in paint and go to "save as" then change the format to jpg. It's as simple as that.

  • yup.. the above answer does it the same way i do. click file, save as, and in the space you type the name of your picture, just add ".jpg" to the end.

  • You can also do it in Microsoft Picture Manager, and it doesn't turn out as "pixel-y"
