Do you think not showing is a sign of complications?

I had a Trisomy 18 baby who passed away at 29 weeks and almost didnt show at all. Now my friend has a baby with a possible fatal heart condition and isn't showing at all, she's 19-20 weeks. No symptoms of pregnancy either. She finds out monday if the baby has the condition or not. What do u think?

  • No way. Most women don't really 'show' until they're super pregnant, especially on a first full-term pregnancy. I didn't look pregnant till about 7 mos and at full-term I just looked sort of pregnant. My cousin didn't even look pregnant when she went in to have her baby! Showing is not a measure of anything, as far as I know. I'm sure she's fine!

  • When I was 7 mo. I could still tuck my shirt into my pants & nobody could tell I was pregnant. He was 7 lbs. at birth and grew up to be a wonderful healthy kid. He's nearly 20 yrs old now.

  • I have never looked more than 4 months pregnant and dont start showing till well after 20 weeks, both my kids were normal healthy babies. Some people just dont show early and just dont grow large bellies. I never even needed maternity clothes.
