  • My blood pressure was slightly elevated 140/90. It honestly was not that big of a deal. I was in the third trimester and it was summer and I expected my blood pressure to go up a bit. It wasn't a surprised. It remained stable and did not go into the danger zone. I ate a LOT of protein, made sure I got enough calcium and water too. I took it easy and it would flux between 130/70 to 140/90. I was worried that I'd be pressured out of my homebirth more than I was worried about the blood pressure. I went into labor normally at 40w 5d and stayed home.
