how much do they take out for child support on a single guy as in percentage wise?

i thought it was about 40% but not sure, and how would they collect if a guy was 50,000 behind in child support? would they take income tax check, a portion or all...and then garnish wages? or could he be sued for x amount? or all of the above?

  • The average is usually anywhere between 25%-30% of his gross income(not net pay). My math skills aren't all that sharp at the moment, but I'd guess somewhere around 700 bucks and some change LOL that's PER KID.

They can take his wages, his income tax(that happened to my ex) return too.

  • They can take up to 50% of his income. If he has arrears, they garnish, put up a lien on any items he owns, garnish his tax returns, put an extra amount on the amount he pays monthly (he pays 365 they add another 200 for arrears), and he can be sued.
