Giving a baby water...

Are you supposed to give an infant water??

  • no, it isnt harmful unless its dirty, but its not needed. baby gets enough from breastmilk or formula. i started giving my dd water around 8 month when she started using a cup. she loves water but i still breastfeed too. she just likes water and i dont like giving her juice too much sugar

  • Not until they start solids. They Should have only breastmilk and/or formula for the first 6 months.

  • No. What are the "constipation" symptoms? It's rare for an infant to be truly constipated. I need symptoms and diet in order to give you accurate information.

  • i give my baby like an ounce a day my dr told me it helps if she has gas.. i have been doing it for about 2 months and it helped so much she had colic and now she is a completely different baby
