How do you like your meat?

I prefer a filet, rare, or even rarer than rare. It's so tender and flavorful, and I never understood why people would do it well and add a lot of sauce!

  • I like a nice ribeye (most flavorful cut supposedly) done medium. Not bleeding, but still dark pink in the middle.

  • I agree OP!! the sign of good meat is not having to use sauce, and cooking it more than medium is just a waste. I prefer rare but since I'm pregnant I go with medium. Makes me not want to order steaks at all though!

  • I will never eat meat with blood still in it(hello?Samonella?) I like my meat well well done, and I prefer it that way. It cannot be safe to eat red meat, there is no way it can be good for you.

  • Medium well for steaks, well done for hamburgers. A-1 on steaks and ranch on burgers.

  • Well done or over well done. Ewww to pink! If I see any pink I won't eat it. I'm not a big meat fan anyways, I was a vegetarian for 7 years and only started eating meat when I got pregnant. I also can't eat steak dry, I have to have au jau (sp?) sauce to dip it in.
