  • I think $ 20 is fair ... you figure if you got 5 ppl you gotta shop for thats $ 100.
i also think it depends on how much your income is and how many ppl you have to buy for..
if you can't afford it maybe just $10 or $5
    I just think it depends:)

  • I say 50 is fair. Most places 20 is one item, and with 50 they can get a few items.

  • i guess it would depend who the gift cards are going out too and what they are for :) but i woukd mean more towards $20 if they are younger kids and $50 if they are for adults.

  • It depends on who you are giving it to. I can give you my address and I really like the ones for $100:)

  • Depends on who you are giving it to! My brothers both younger and cousins and my nephew are all getting $10 a piece. We usually don't get gifts in return from them, so we keep the amounts small and I am broke this year! So $50 is a lot, lol~!

  • I put 20 on each card but I have found alot of time that buying something is cheaper than giving money.

  • There's no other kids in my family other than my children so it would be for adults and I usually give fifty a piece to all the adults. My DH thinks that's too much but then again he doesn't like parting with his money :( Thanks everyone and Merry Xmas!!

  • For my family we do $100. For friends we do $50-100.

  • I did $15 but that's for the adults in my family.

  • Depends on who it is for and what shop it' for.
For our 2 teen daughters we bought them each a Border's gift card for $50 because books are pricey and they love to read. We also bought them each a Starbuck's gift card for $20, which will get them about 4 -5 cups of their favorite coffees.
For my FIL we bought him a $100 gift card to Home Depot because he loves to do home improvement things and you need a good chunk of money to buy the things you need for that.
For people we aren't close enough to, I suppose a $20 to $25 gift card to Walmart would acceptable.
