  • My DH is a mechanic. Depending on the car and type of oil (regular or synthetic) change it every 3000-5000 miles. My DH rotates the tires everytime he changes oil. As far as the transmission fluid-it will usually tell you what the manufacturer recommends in the owners manual-again it depends on make and model of car. All the the other regular maintainance and 30,000mi, 60,000mi and on recommended maintenance is all in your owners manual.

  • Carajust sounds correct.
Don't forget to change the air in your tires every 6,000 miles. :)
