Is a discharge normal for little girls?

My DD is 4 & have noticed she is a little discharge in her panties. Is this normal?

  • Could be a yeast infection or some other sort of infection.
    Call her Pedi.

  • could be an infection. It does happen, we don't use medication unless absolutely necessary, so the couple of times my dd had some discharge, i used plain organic yogurt as a cream down there and it cleared it right up.

  • This is gonna sound gross, but smell it, yes I said smell it. I was told by my daughters pedi that if it didn't smell bad and she didn't seem to be in pain that it was normal, even at birth.

  • I would say no, that's not normal unless she going through puberty which I highly doubt; I would definitely schedule a check-up and talk with you pedi about it. Best of luck~
