what age were your childrenwhen you started doing santa?

  • we did it his first christmas, he turned one 2 weeks later. It was probably more for my mom and I than anything (at least thats what dh and my dad said )but it was fun and he loved coming out in the morning to the wonderland of toys lol.

we have started with their first chrstmas ever since. especially since once you have two children it is hard to explain why the baby didnt get santa but he older kids did.

  • We, also, have done Santa from the very beginning... It's a tradition, so why not start right away? =)

  • My son stopped believing at age 8. My nieces still believe santa exists. I hate it because I feel a make believe is getting all the credit and praise. Like last year when my niece unwrapped her Wii, she said, "Thank you santa, your're the best!" I felt worthless because I slaved at work to get the gifts, but I guess you let them believe until they start to wonder like my son did.
