is it true you cant have a fireplace on while pregnant?

I read some where you cant because of the fumes. Any real back up source?

  • No it's not true. There are some kinds of heaters pregnant women shouldn't be around.

  • That was the only type of heat people had for hundreds of years. If that were true most of us wouldnt be here.

  • Yes it is very true due to the smoke and carbon monixide could come from it, not good at all. We have the portable heater fireplaces that need plugging in, these are much safer. They look like real fireplaces but are heaters.

  • If there is smoke and CO2 in your house from your fireplace, it is a problem for everyone in the house and you should have it looked at.
