Need a really good cookie recipe

I don't have much money for presents I was gonna make cookies with my older son to give his grandmother & a couple of other family members. Can you ladies help me out please?

  •  I've used pecan without raisen. I've also topped them with cream cheese icing

  • Sour Cream Sugar Cookies
    1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks) softened
    2 cups sugar
    3 Jumbo eggs
    2 teasp. vanilla extract
    1 1/4 cup sour cream
    1 teasp. baking soda
    4 cups flour
    2 teasp. baking powder
    1/2 teasp. salt
    1/4 teasp. cinnamon
    1/4 teasp. nutmeg
    In a large mixing bowl: cream butter 3 mins on medium speed, add sugar, cream for 3 mins longer, add eggs 1 at a time. Beat well after each egg, add vanilla. In a small bowl: combine sour cream and the baking soda sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg to butter mixture: alternately add the flour mixture and the sour cream starting with the flour mixture and ending with the flour mixture drop by teaspoon onto a greased tin foil lined cookie sheet 12 cookies to a cookie sheet. spaced 1 1/2 inches apart bake at 350' F for 8-10 mins. do not brown the tops cool on paper lined cookie racks.
