  • I'd call doc to ask; they expect calls so don't worry about bothering anyone. I don't think you can take that. I do think you can take benedryl though. I can't remember any others at the moment, but def call doc about this.

  • Try
If they don't have that specific brand, you can look up the ingredients individually.

  • This is straight from a paper my OB gave me. Before 16 weeks avoid all medication unless it is an emergency contact the doctor in that case. 1. Pain relief: Tylenol 2. Cold symptoms: sudafed, beadryl(at night), Robitussin(Plain), Ricola cough drops, throat spray, warm salt water gargle, saline nasal spray. 3. Diarrhea: Kaopectate. 4. stool softener: Drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day, diet high in fiber, fruit and bran, prunes, and prune juice, meatmucil, citracel, colace. Hemorrhoids: Keep stool soft by drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water per day, tucks, preperation H, Anusol HC. 6. Heartburn: Tums, maalox, mylanta, gelusil, riopan, digel. 6: Skin irritation: aveeno oatmeal bath, calamine lotion, benadryl tablets.

Hope that helps clear it up.

  • Regular Robitussin for a cough, regular Sudafed if you are congested, and Tylenol for the pain. Got me through a NASTY cold during my second trimester. This was what my doc told me to take. Don't take any of the special formulations, because they can contain ingredients that aren't safe right now. Cough drops in moderation are okay, but don't take them often. I can't remember what the ingredient in them is that is dangerous if you take them a lot.
