When did your doctor look to see if it is a boy or girl?

I keep reading 16 weeks then I read 20 wks....

Seventeen weeks, though I was measuring a week ahead so that's why she was willing to do it then.

withmy son i found out at 14 weeks which everyone said was way to early but it was correct and with my daughter i found out at 19 weeks. it is realy up to the doctor when they want to do the ultrasound

I havent gotten to that point in my preganancy yet but I was told 18-22 wks and to try to go on the later side than earlier so that it is easier to see all the organs in the fetus as well as a more positive look at the genitals...just what I was told but Im sure there are many who have found out all these things much earlier

16 wks shouldnt be too early. my sister in law found out at 15 wks and i am going to find out at 16

There's a slightly higer margin of error at 16 weeks than if you wait two week and have it done at 18wks. And the error rate drops even lower if it's done around 20wks.

i was given my first ultrasound at 20 weeks.. average is 20 weeks, unless they feel something is wrong then they pull you in early,
