Has anyone ever had repeat clogged drains in their house?

what do you do or what did you do?

  • My upstairs bathroom sink was clogged over and over. We used drain cleaner and plunged it. It would run ok for a few days and then clog back up. Finally I pulled it apart. It had one of those plugs that is attached and you pull up a thing to plug it. Anyway, I pulled that out and it was all gunked up. Cleaned it and put it back together, but same thing a month later. Finally I removed it. We use a rubber plug now and no problems since. HTH

  • Put about 1/2 of baking soda, 1/4 cup of cheap salt, and 1 cup of vinegar down the drain; follow an hour later with boiling water.
