I would like to know if toddlers still experience fevers and things like that when they are teething. My now 21 month old daughter has developed fever for about 2 days now. She has no other symptoms, but she is chewing on everything like socks, the top of her sippy cup, her shirts, etc. I'm pretty sure she's still cutting her teeth, but I was wondering did they still have fevers due to that at this age.

  • Yes. It can still happen when they're two.

My two-year-old still throws up when she cuts a tooth, just like she did when she was a baby.

It's still a good idea to treat the fever regardless of what's causing it, but I get that it can be comforting to know that it's normal.
