at 12 months what words could your LO say???

  • Ma-Ma, Da-Da, and some sounds that represented older sibling's name

    "Ba" for bottle or cup, and also for ball


    I think that's about it at 12 months, but there might have been some sounds they used to represent other things that I just didn't understand.

  • "flag" was the only word my first said at one year! It was late June and there were flags everywhere for the 4th of July and he loved them.

  • mama, papa, tata for grandma, he rolls his eyes bak when we say ojito(little eyes), he claps, he raises his hand up for slow music like worship at church, ba for vamonos(lets go), gives kisses when u say besito(kiss), he opens his mouth n takes his tongue out when u say ahhh. n other things, but he doesnt walk yet.

  • I can't remember all of them at 12 months...but, I believe she said....Hi, Dog, Woof-Woof, Mom/Mama, Dad/Dada, Go, No, Nums (which meant food), Uh-Oh, Bye-bye. At 18 months, she had more than 100 word vocabulary. At 2 years old (now), she speaks in complete sentences. You can have a conversation with her...she understands a lot.
