  • My first took forever to get teeth. At her first bday she had the first 4 teeth. My son had a mouthful by his first bday! But now she is 8 and they came in fine. The dentist did tell us the later they come in the later they come out, so she didn't loose first tooth until very end of 1st grade.

  • LOL she's absolutely fine. my dd got two teeth at 4 months but her cousin didn't have a tooth in his head til he was 13 months. His pedi said there's nothing to worry about until they hit 18 months. Just enjoy not having to deal with a fussy teething baby. my daughter is cutting 8 teeth rigt now. Ever her doctor was like, 'omg! she's cutting a lot of teeth.' I was like,' yeah I know, I haven't been getting any sleep because of it!'

  • I have not experienced it because my daughter is almost 10 months old and has 4 almost 5 teeth. I have a friend whos daughter did not cut her first tooth till 13 months old and like your daughter, she could gum anything. It is normal!

  • My son is nearly 12 months and has no teeth. Babies get their front teeth first, and those aren't used for chewing anyway. Molars are, and babies don't get those until around 18 months to 2 years. So, before that, all babies are chewing with their gums. That's how she's eating those chicken nuggets!

  • My daughter didn't cut her first tooth until she was 13 months old. The actually say that the longer the teeth stay in the gums, the healthier and stronger they'll be because they're not exposed to anything that could potentially weaken the enamel.

  • She's fine. I didn't get teeth until I was a year old. Some babies just have them erupt later. It's actually an they can better deal with the teething pain and can communicate about their comfort level.
