how long would cut celery stay fresh?

i'm taking veggie trays and cheese trays to our Christmas party. but i really have no idea how long the celery would stay good once cut in small strips. i found this that tells about storing it but that's not for if it is cut in short strips. i'm just worried that if i cut it in short strips today then it will be all soft and bendy tomorrow. :) thanks

  • Just soak them in cold water in the fridge to keep them crisp. Doesn't matter if they're cut or not.

  • They should be fine for a few days. I don't think they will get bendy by tomorrow but if they dry out just put them in a bag of water and they will come back to life and be fine
