  • I had 11 teenagers at my house this am and I will tell you what I did! I left. They were watching videos when I came home, they had movies and they also made gingerbread houses. They made cookies and a cake, when there not eating they are arguing about what to eat. Then when they are not arguing they are screaming and laughing. Okay so I guess my point is have many various things for them to do. Mostly don't assume that they will clean up after them selves.

This website is super helpful. It has all sorts of crafts, recipes, and games to do with your kids.
This is another site I found. Family Disney. With online games.

Instead of buying color books, I just google "Coloring Pages" and save the picture to my computer. Then I print off the pages that I like. Saves a TON of money and you can do just about any picture you can think of.

  • These are a few sites I use to print worksheets:

We have a couple different computer games and XBox games a couple of the kids like to play. Sometimes I give them construction paper, scissors and glue (and maybe even sparkly glue), or I make homemeade playdough (do you have cream of tartar?). We have watercolors and they can either paint on computer paper or paint in their watercolor books. We have puzzles ranging from 24 pieces to 100 pieces, and we have wordsearch books and crossword puzzle books. Sometimes I just play kid songs on the stereo and we all dance and run around the livingroom, and we act out some songs, like Six Little Ducks. I have a recipe on how to make Christmas tree ornaments, one w/ white pipe cleaners and borax, another w/ a homeade claydough. Do you want those recipes?
