Milk in the diaper bag?

How long can I keep pre-pumped breast milk in the diaper bag when I go somewhere before it's no good anymore?

  • At room temp....24 hours at 60 deg, 10 hours at 66-72 deg, 4-6 hours at 79 deg

  • It is ok tto be at room temp for about 8 hours. If you are going to be out longer than that try putting it in like a small cooler in the car with ice packs or something.

  • When I was in the hospital they told me breastmilk was good for approx 6 hours after it was pumped at room temperature.

  • According to "evenflo", the pamplet I got with my breastpump says 6-8 hours :)

    It's not good enough that she's feeding her baby breast milk? Give her a break. Maybe it's NOT easier for her to nurse.
