why do some people type God's name like "G-d" this? just curious. I've seen a few times. thanks

  • For some religions it is written that the name of God is to never be written. So it is a way around it.

  • Isnt God a title, isnt his name Yahweh or Jehovah? is that why they took his name out of the bible. where in the bible does it say to not use God's name.

  • The name "God" is made up anyway. There is no true name (known to man) that represents the almighty. We use the word God/dess as a title to represent the highest level of divinity.
