If my son just spit up everything he just ate, should I feed him again??

  • Typically it just looks like they spit up everything.

    Anyway...just feed on demand. If he acts hungry, feed him. If not, don't worry about it.

  • Typically I wait 15 minutes or so to let his tummy settle and then I volunteer food. If he takes it he's hungry, if not then he's good.

  • I was worried about this before as well. I was told that it looks like they spit up everything, but its really not as bad, because the food is mixed with other fluids in the stomach or something. I would wait 10 mins or so, and see if he'll take more. My dd always ate more, otherwise if he doesn't eat..he's prob not hungry yet.

  • Not til he shows signs of hunger. If you force him to eat again after spitting up a bunch he'll likely just spit up a bunch again.
