Christians: when he comes again?

I have heard this before. Does it mean "he" as in a man will come again? Jesus will walk the earth again? Will we know who he is?

  • He is Jesus. And the Second Coming is when Jesus will come and physically stand on the earth. The Bible says that He will stand on the Mount of Olives and it will be split in two!!! Amazing isn't it!!! But this is also dreadfull, because it will be the war to end all wars--the end of the world. This last battle is called "armegeddon" because it will take place in the Valley of Megiddo.

When many Christians say, they can't wait for Jesus to come, they are not talking about the Second Coming, but the rapture. The rapture will come before the great Tribulation, and Jesus will not come back here, but His church will be caught up to meet Him in the air and be with Him forever.

  • Muslims believe in Jesus as a Prophet, a man amongst many Prophets who have been directed by God to teach humanity that there is only One God and how to live a life of righteousness in pleasing the One God. So the concept of the trinity in Islam is out, yet the love for Jesus- peace be upon him, and his Virgin Mother Mary is totally in. Many Muslims name their sons and daughters Maryam, Eesa (Jesus) as they do other Prophets like Yusef (Joseph) Musa (Moses). Islam teaches that Jesus never died but was brought up into heaven and will come down with certain roles to complete and pray with the Muslims- because Jesus is a Muslim, with which his life will end as all humans die. All Prophets had their own miracles by God's will, but ppl took Jesus' miracles and began rumors and lies that this must mean he is God, the son of God..etc which is the biggest difference between Christianity and Islam.
