  • Usually I would put ice...on my aunt's kids.
    Otherwise, try a cream-maybe moisturizing?

    Hope this helped!

  • Use a non-petroleum based cream like Neutrogena or something similiar on her nose. Products like Vaseline will block up the skin around the nose and can also get into the lungs.

  • My son has had that happen a few times before. I put Aquaphor (just enough to moisten the area) on the irritated parts when he goes to bed and by morning his nose is MUCH better.

  • I used Vaseline on my ds last week, he kept rubbing his snot across his cheeks so his cheeks were chapped as well as under his nose, I put just a dab of vaseling on it at bedtime and by morning it was almost gone, I did it on 3 different nights and now his nose looks normal even though he's still congested & blowing it frequently. Also, using the Kleenexes with lotion & aloe/E helps a lot!

  • I have used Vaseline before on my kids nose/face area and it works really well.

I hope your little one feels better soon.
