Can anyone tell me a peanutbutter cookie recipe?

I found an awesome recipe on here last Christmas for a PB cookie - I think it was 1 cup of everything - PB, flour, sugar, and then one egg. But the batter doesn't look like I remember it to be. Anyone remember anything like this?

  • 1 cup peanut butter
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg

Mix and roll up into balls, bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes or until the tops start to crack and don't smash with a fork.

  • There are the ones I made for Christmas, I believe it made 3 dozen. Pre-heat oven 350....
    Mix together
    1/2 cp butter
    1/2 cp white sugar
    1/2 cp brown sugar
    1/2 cp peanut butter
    Add in

    1 egg
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    Finally add in
    1 3/4 cp flour ( I didn't use quite that much maybe 1 2/4 cp)
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt

THEN- (you don't have to do this but it was so good! lol)

Roll into balls and coat ( I did white sugar and red sprinkles to be festive)
As soon as you pull them out of the over place a hersheys kiss on top! Stick in the fridge or freezer for a few to let the kisses harden again :)

As for bake times I didn't follow one, I would say they were in there maybe 8min, but my oven has a mind of it's own so I have to watch anything in it like a hawk :)

  • Peanut Butter Cookies

    1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup creamy peanut butter
    1/8 cup or more milk
    1/2 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.

Combine flour, salt and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.

In a small microwaveable bowl, heat peanut butter in microwave for about 45 seconds or until soft. Stir in brown sugar and milk, adding enough milk to have a pretty milky consistency.

Pour the peanut butter mixture immediately into the mixing bowl containing the dry ingredients. Mix until slightly moist. Add rolled oats. Continue mixing until well combined, you may have to add more milk as this batter will be thick.

Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes.

  • This is my family's favorite. Cream together 1.5 cups shortening (I use Imperial stick margarine) and 1.5 cups peanut butter (I use the whole 18 oz jar, it's only a bit more). Add 2 cups brown sugar, 3 eggs, and 2 teaspoons vanilla. In a seperate bowl, mix 3 cups quick-cooking oats, 2 cups whole wheat flour, and 2 teaspoons baking powder. Mix the dry into the wet ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased sheet and bake 10-14 minutes at 350, til just starting to get golden. I made them with Christmas M&Ms and they looked nice. I like to put mini chocolate chips in half a batch - like 3/4 cup, just a taste. They're nice & pb-ery, and you can't tell they're made with ww flour. LOL I even let my kids eat the plain ones for breakfast the other morning, with a glass of milk & some fruit!
