DETROIT – A 23-year-old Nigerian man who claimed ties to al-Qaida was charged Saturday with trying to destroy a Detroit-bound airliner, just a month after his father warned U.S. officials of concerns about his son's religious beliefs.
The suspect claimed to have received training and instructions from al-Qaida operatives in Yemen, a law enforcement official said on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.
Just a month after US officals were warned about this guy? What the heck ?

They were warned by his father who had no details. He comes from a prominent Nigerian family. The father went to teh US embassy and told of his sons newfound "religious beliefs"...no info of an attack. He has been on a FBI watch list for about 2 years, but again nothing specific...I guess like the Ft Hood shooter.....Seems the FBI and CIA are just letting these guys move about freely UNTIL something happens.....
Also, Where did this man board the flight? Shouldn't THEY be held responsible??

Obviously we are having quite a crises with the Islamic religion, every time this happens its the root of it.
The problem is that no one wants to put a stop to it, and the United States knew about this? That is the problem, A out of control problem, is Obama that dumb? Not to have learned from 911? Obviously he is.
