  • butter bean soup (oh. my. god... thats all i can say about that!)
and i'm baking some bread to go with it- the kids LOVE soup nights, because they always get home made bread & butter.

  • Lamb Chops, left over scalloped potatoes, and green bean casserols (my kids LOVE Lamb Chops and the left overs make putting dinner on the table much easier than cooking EVERYTHING from Scratch.)

  • I use my left over turkey for divan. It is very different from just the turkey and dressing.

Make a layer of turkey in a 13 X 9 pan; then a layer of  broccoli, pour over all your sauce (1 cup mayo, 1 cup milk, 16 ounces of velveta cheese, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup.) Cook at 350 for about 25 min.

Tip: heat cheese in microwave for about 1 min, stir, then another minute, add soups and heat a couple of minutes. This helps the cheese soften to the point you can easily mix the sauce to a smooth consistancy.

Serve over rice or egg noodles.
