  • i'm not very good at checkin CP, and its a wonder your hubby knows what he's doing lol....anyway "normally" when fertile your cervix is high, open, soft and usually wet. PLUS you should have fertile cervical mucus (CM) that resembles egg whites and is stretchy. now with your CP it can very for eah woman so dont worry too much on that if you're not 100% sure, just go by your bodys patter. But you should only check the position once each day at the same time bc it can vary during the day.
As far as OPKs go, just to check they are only positive if the test line is darker or the same color as the control line. each woman can have some of the LH hormone a little throughout the whole cycle, which can give you that neg, faint line pattern. If its truly pos you will Ovulate about 12-36 hrs after. so get all the BD'ing in that you can! sperm can live 5-7 days but the egg only 12-24 hrs!!! GL! pm me and i'll help if i can!!

  • normal how??? for the way cervix is?? could be....should start softening as you get closer to O'ing.....if you have a reg 28 day cycle then ovulation is usually around day 14....just depends on how long your cycles usually are. you can always try OPKs as well and start testing around cd 11 to see when you will ovulate. but def normal to see some line on an opk then nothing for days before getting a pos. if you're one of the lucky ones you'll see a sort of wave pattern to the opks where you will see them start to darken before O'ing.

  • Try uswing the clear blue easy OPK's. Its a digital one and it will give you a smiley face when you have your LH surge. Its so much easier than trying to figure out what the other ones are saying. GL!
