What Do You Put On Your Fajita? (Toppings)

i want to cook fajitas tonight Im using the tyler florence recipe off food network. I want to try the quacomole but scared it may not taste good...whats your favorite topping or if you have a good recipe feel free to leave that too LOL

  • Honestly, I didn't know you put stuff on fajitas. But try the guac, it seems like a good idea, just make a little. S. cream, salsa?
    or just hot sauce.

  • I season my meat, often marinade it for several hours first, chopped onion, garlic, red and green peppers saute in a very hot cast iron skillet if you have one. We prefer flour tortillas with fajitas so we warm them, serve with guacamole, sour cream, Fresh shredded letucce and pico de gallo (or your own salsa of choice)

  • If your afraid of guac try chopped up avocado with a good spicy salsa and the fresh cilantro, lettuce, cheese, rice, beans (black beans are the best), tomato, sour cream (some people use plain yogurt instead). Man now I want fajitas thanks a lot tease the pregnant lady with yummy food. LOL Good luck and good eating I might have to have that for my dinner if I have the stuff.

  • I buy the bag of frozen peppers, stir fry them with onions, chopped up chicken breast and some fajita seasoning mix. Then I top with cheddare cheese and lite sour cream and roll them up. (I sometimes add a can of pintos or kidney beans and spanish style rice if I'm serving company some.
