I saved money on a king bed by adding a twin set to the twin set I already had. Now how do I cover that gap between the mattresses? Egg shells are too thin.

  • I would get two mattress covers and a feather bed. Then make sure you buy sheets with deep pockets

  • They have twin mattress connectors, I think they are called. We weren't sure if we could fit a king up our stairs so we were looking for something like that. We ended up getting a memory foam king which bends completely so didn't end up getting the connectors.

  • Go to a sleep shop and buy the filler that they make to fix that

  • How thick does the memory foam need to be? More than 4 inches?

I think you should go with the strap thing. The foam will not hold the beds together

  • I have little patience and I'm working on that. I got a memory foam mattress cover and it sticks to the mattress so the gap is actually not a problem any more.
