  • We like to do a bunch of finger foods to snack on while we watch movies or TV and play family games. Swedish or Sweet & Sour Meatballs, Sausage Balls, Chicken Fingers, French Fries, toasted ravioli or mozzarella sticks w/warm marinara sauce, pinwheel sandwiches, chicken wings, spinach & artichoke (or crab) dip, lil smokies, stuffed mushrooms, pot-stickers ....

  • We are doing a dinner before going to a party, I am doing a standing Rib Roast, Mushrooms, Potatoes, and Rolls.
Then I am making all kinds of finger foods for the party, the best place to find recps. is The Pioneer Woman Cooks website!

  • We always had steak for New Year's when I was a kid, sometimes with lobster tails (my mom's favorite). We grill all year round even in the freezing cold. I remember back then it was before microwaves and my dad would start the fire over an hour before we were eating to cook the baked potatoes. Don't think I could handle that.

Man, now I want a steak. We'll probably be eating mac and cheese or something. I think last year we ordered pizza because I didn't feel like cooking.
